2022 was a lonely year for me.
Despite meeting my girlfriend, I spent half of the year solo traveling around Latin America and distancing myself (unintentionally) from my friends back home.

Now, we’re just two months away from 2024. And it’s time to set new goals.
But this year is different. I’ve grown my business and my audience, among many other things. And one benefit of the latter is accountability. If I publish my goals, eyeballs will see that side of me for the first time.
So here it goes: I’m focusing on becoming more financially free.
How will I do it? Three ways:
- Helping you become more free
- Improving my sales capabilities to grow my writing business
- Doing less of the work in my writing business
The Freedom Files is all about helping you become more free – in time, money and mobility, But it’s also about documenting my journey to ultimate freedom. The whole of it. Mistakes, wins, lessons learned.
So for that reason, let’s get into the meat of each:
1. Providing more ways for you to become more free
In 2024 you will see a lot more of me in your inbox. The unsubscribe button if that doesn’t excite you.
Courses, a community, premium content, 1:1 access with me, Q&A, quick guides, free products.
I don’t know how I’m going to sort through all the ideas. But expect a few of these to become a reality soon.
Whatever it takes to help you level up in becoming more in-control of your schedule, more financially free, and more location independent, I will build.
Also, I’ll look to partner with other creators in this space to help you get the information you need (if I don’t already provide it).
Because I still have so much to learn. The Freedom Files isn’t about sharing just my story. But others’ too. The sole focus is to help you become freer.
2. Improving my sales capabilities to grow my writing business
My writing business helps creators and interesting people launch, grow, and monetize their personal brands.
Since founding in 2021, we’ve worked with leaders across several industries. But the most fun and most leverage I have is in an industry I understand and care deeply about personally. That is, the residency- and citizenship-by-investment (RCBI) migration space.
I’ve already gotten a few clients, introductions, and referrals in the space. They key is to capitalize and not get complacent with our success – honestly, something I’ve struggled with in the past.
2024 is all about sales, sales, sales. When I feel overwhelmed, it’s not time to slow down sales but to speed up hiring.
3. Doing less of the work in my writing business
My business needs me. If I’m busy, my business suffers.
And that’s not a good thing.
I want a business that operates even without my presence, that earns without my having to dedicate my time and energy to it daily. That’s true freedom.
So in 2024, I’m hiring more team members to do the low-leverage work while I lead the company on the sales front.
I’m not sure what this looks like quite yet since this is my first scaling experience. But I know it starts with repeatable processes and systems.
So here’s to operational excellence.
I feel more prepared for 2024 than I ever have for an upcoming year. Especially after building some stability for the first time in two years.
This year is all about building my financial freedom muscle, so I can spend more time doing what I want where I want when I want.
